I started playin drums when I was about 10, I guess. I would just listen to the radio, and play along on phone books. My folks got me a kit and I have been teaching myself ever since. I played for two years in church service and a christian rock band for a brief period. I play for a spell in high school, nothing too regular. When I was about 22, I started jamin around on a friends kit and remembered what I was missing in my life. Drums. I got a 92 Pearl Exort 6piece and started a band \"Cheep Bastard\" with my best friend. We did alright for a couple years, gained some small town status, but nothing great. My friend and I went our own ways, him on tour to Cali. with \"Cruital Faith\" me, I joined Neil A. Needless to say, niether of those worked out. So June 2000 we started planning for what is now known as \"Headtrip\" Now being 27, and having some experiance uder my belt, feel I am ready to step to the next level of drumming. With no formal training, I have some small timing issues, I tend to play off of emotion, and that in turn throws my timing. Can anyone suggest help?
