JULIE SCHWARTZ -AKA-"P-GO" I have been drumming for 17 yrs., am self taught and have been playing with various bands for the past 15 years. Originally from Albany, New York, I moved to New Paltz, NY, where local heavy rock band CATHOUSE was formed. I have been drumming for CATHOUSE since 1991 with breaks here and there. During that time I also drummed with several other rock/punk bands in NY, from upstate to NYC. During my time in Seattle, I have played w/ various musicians, including local punk band Agent 86. CATHOUSE has recently reunited and will be playing shows very soon..in NYC as well as Seattle. Cathouse can now be seen at www.cat-house.org. My influences are Vinnie Signorelli from UNSANE (NYC band), Dale from the Melvins, Samantha Maloney, The Jesus Lizard, Rage Against The Machine, Helmet and my new fave,..Austin from The Senate Arcade (you rock!!) Hard, heavy, and melodic is the way for me. Drumming keeps me sane. Its such an emotional, very physical way for me to get through the day! Im psyched to see more and more women drummers out there!
